  • Do I need an appointment to tan?

 

Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability. Contact us if you have questions about availability or want to plan your visit.

 

  • What should I bring for my first visit?

 

Bring a valid photo ID. Our team will walk you through the sign-up process, explain your tanning options, and help you choose a package that fits your needs.

 

  • Do I need to be a member to tan?

 

No! SunTastic offers single sessions and tanning packages, as well as membership options for customers who tan regularly.

 

  • How old do I have to be to tan?

 

People who are 17 years old need parental consent to tan under Pennsylvania law. No one under 17 is permitted to tan.

 

  • How often can I tan?

 

Frequency depends on the type of tanning service and your individual circumstances. For UV tanning, follow the equipment's exposure schedule and avoid additional exposure if your skin is red or irritated. There is no risk-free level of UV tanning. 

 

  • Can I tan if I've never tanned before?

 

First-time customers are welcome! Let our staff know it's your first visit so we can explain the process, discuss risks, and review the appropriate exposure guidance for the equipment. 

 

  • Do you sell tanning lotions at SunTastic?

 

Yes! We carry a selection of indoor tanning lotions at different price points. Stop in and let us help you find one that fits your needs.

 

  • Should I wear protective eyewear?

 

Yes. Properly fitted, approved protective eyewear must be worn during UV tanning sessions. Closing your eyes or wearing regular sunglasses is not a substitute. We offer tanning goggles to borrow or to purchase!

 

  • Can I tan if I have sensitive skin or take medication?

 

Some medications and skincare products can increase sensitivity to UV light. Check with a healthcare professional or pharmacist before UV exposure if you take medication or use products that may cause photosensitivity. 

 

  • What if I get sunburned? 

 

Do not tan again while your skin is red, painful, or irritated. If symptoms are severe or concerning, seek medical advice.
